Το "What a Fool Believe" είναι ένα τραγούδι που έγραψαν οι Michael McDonald και Kenny Loggins. Η πιο γνωστή έκδοση ηχογραφήθηκε από τους Doobie Brothers (με τον McDonald να τραγουδάει βασικά φωνητικά) για το άλμπουμ τους το 1978 Minute by Minute. Ντεμπούτο στον Νο 73 στις 20 Ιανουαρίου 1979, το single έφτασε στο νούμερο ένα του Billboard Hot 100 στις 14 Απριλίου 1979 για μία εβδομάδα. Το τραγούδι έλαβε βραβεία Grammy το 1980 τόσο για το τραγούδι της χρονιάς όσο και για το δίσκο της χρονιάς.
