"The Blues Man". (1980)

Ένα σχεδόν αυτοβιογραφικό τραγούδι του Hank Williams Jr. από τον δίσκο του με τίτλο "Habits Old And New" του 1980. Το συμπεριέλαβε ο Alan Jackson στο άλμπουμ του "Under The Influence" (1999) με τραγούδια που θα ήθελε να είχε γράψει αυτός.......
Το τραγούδησε και ζωντανά στο tribute concert προς τιμή του Hank Jr, ενός καλλιτέχνη που παρά τις τραγωδίες που έπληξαν τη ζωή του από μωρό, κατόρθωσε και στάθηκε στα πόδια του με αποτέλεσμα, να γίνει εφάμιλλος του θεμελιωτή της σύγχρονης country πατέρα του.
Στην ανάρτηση το τραγουδάει στο Farm Aid Fesstival, σε μια υποδειγματική εκτέλεση για ζωντανή ηχογράφηση.....

1979 Σαν σήμερα 4 Δεκεμβρίου οι Fleetwood Mac κυκλοφορούν το single "Sara".

Η Stevie Nicks (των Fleetwood Mac) έγραψε το τραγούδι “Sara για το μωρό που απέβαλε
«Αν είχα παντρευτεί τον Don και κράταγα το μωρό, και αν κορίτσι, θα το είχα ονομάσει Σάρα», είπε. Αλλά η Nicks δήλωσε πως το τραγούδι - το οποίο αρχικά ήταν διάρκειας 16 λεπτών και περιλάμβανε εννέα στίχους που κόπηκαν από το άλμπουμ – αναφέρονταν επίσης στη σύζυγό του Mick Fleetwood, την Sara, και σε άλλες πτυχές της αποσύνθεσης των σχέσεων του συγκροτήματος.

Τον περασμένο χειμώνα, ο Eric Clapton κυκλοφόρησε το άλμπουμ Happy Xmas, μέσω της Surfdog Records, είναι μια συλλογή συνθέσεων από τον θρύλο της κιθάρας, που αποτελεί το 24ο του studio άλμπουμ και την πρώτη του κυκλοφορία από το 2016, το Still Do LP.

Ένα από τα αρχικά κομμάτια του άλμπουμ είναι το "Everyday Will Be Like A Holiday", ένας μπλουζ ρυθμός στον οποίο ο Clapton, ενεργώντας ως αφηγητής του τραγουδιού, περιγράφει πόσο ευτυχισμένος θα είναι όταν η αγαπημένη του επιστρέψει στο σπίτι.
