Το τραγούδι “The Year of ‘41” από το project Star One του Ολλανδού μουσικού Arjen Anthony Lucassen, με τη συμμετοχή του Dino Jelusick, είναι ένα εντυπωσιακό κομμάτι progressive metal με έντονα κινηματογραφικά και επιστημονικής φαντασίας στοιχεία.

Το τραγούδι “The Year of ‘41” από το μουσικό project Arjen Anthony Lucassen’s Star One ανήκει στο άλμπουμ Revel in Time, το οποίο κυκλοφόρησε αρχικά στις 18 Φεβρουαρίου 2022. Στις 8 Σεπτεμβρίου 2025, παρουσιάστηκε επίσημα η εκδοχή του κομματιού με τη συμμετοχή του Dino Jelusick, η οποία είχε καθυστερήσει λόγω δισκογραφικών περιορισμών. 

Το μουσικό ύφος του τραγουδιού κινείται στον χώρο του progressive metal και του space rock, με έντονα κινηματογραφικά και επικά στοιχεία. Η θεματική του εμπνέεται από την ταινία The Final Countdown (1980), εξερευνώντας την ιδέα του χρονοταξιδιού και της παρέμβασης στην ιστορία, μέσα από δυναμική ενορχήστρωση και αφηγηματικούς στίχους.

Το “The Year of ‘41” είναι ένα χρονοταξιδιωτικό έπος, με στίχους που εξερευνούν την ιδέα της αλλαγής της ιστορίας μέσω επιστημονικής φαντασίας. Η αφήγηση περιστρέφεται γύρω από ένα ταξίδι πίσω στον Β’ Παγκόσμιο Πόλεμο, με ερωτήματα όπως:

“Are we to change the course of history?” “We must defy the laws of nature”
