Arthur Lee & Love - Alone Again Or

Σαν Σήμερα 3-8-2006: Ο Αμερικανός τραγουδιστής, τραγουδοποιός, μουσικός και παραγωγός Arthur Lee (Arthur Taylor 1945-2006) απεβίωσε σε ηλικία 61 ετών στο Μέμφις του Τενεσί από λευχαιμία. Υπήρξε τραγουδιστής και τραγουδοποιός του Αμερικανικού συγκροτήματος Love από το 1965 μέχρι και το 1972 έπειτα ακολούθησε σόλο καριέρα. Δίπλα του ο Jimi Hendrix ηχογράφησε για πρώτη φορά σε στούντιο, όταν ο Lee τον φώναξε να παίξει κιθάρα στο τραγούδι του "My Diary". Με τους Love άρχισε να δίνει παραστάσεις το 1965 και η μουσική τους είχε επιρροές από folk-rock, psychedelic-rock και garage-rock. Το 1996 καταδικάστηκε σε δώδεκα χρόνια φυλακή για οπλοκατοχή αλλά αποφυλακίστηκε τελικά το 2001.
