Οι Eloy είναι ένα γερμανικό progressive rock συγκρότημα, του οποίου το μουσικό στυλ τους κυμαίνεται μεταξύ του progressive και space rock. Παρά την εθνικότητά τους και την χρονική περίοδο που δημιουργήθηκαν, η μπάντα δεν θεωρείται γενικά krautrock λόγω του ήχου τους, ο οποίος έχει πολύ περισσότερα κοινά με τις αγγλικές μπάντες όπως οι Pink Floyd, King Crimson και Yes

Once a rebellious child

With many questions, roaming in my mind

Craving for knowledge I tried to learn

Surrounded by violence, apathy and disparity
